As of 2023, the SSA is pleased to announce new membership rates. We now have reduced rates for students and all members, as well as a simplification of membership categories.
Besides, over 2023 the Swiss Journal of Sociology will become an online publication only. In prevision of this shift, the softcopy of the Swiss Journal of Sociology will only be available based on a supplemental fee (+50 CHF per member).
Yearly fees:
| Students (Bachelor students, Master students, PhD students) | CHF 50.- |
| Members with fixed-term contract, Members without an employment contract (retired, unemployed) | CHF 150.- |
| Members with permanent contract / tenured members | CHF 200.- |
| Additional fee for the printed copy of the Swiss Journal of Sociology (3 issues per year) | CHF 50.- |
| Institutional membership ( including the Swiss Journal of Sociology) (only available for institutions; this does not cover the individual membership of institute staff) | CHF 300.- |
